Between observation and imagination
About The Artist
I make drawings, prints, paintings and small sculptural works based on everyday life at home, trees, tables, objects and fragments.
These begin as direct observations but often shift into something more playful or slightly off. Shapes wobble, overlap or become containers for patterns, marks and small imagined details.
Alongside this, I make sculptural pieces using found and simple materials, exploring balance, texture and how objects sit together in space.
My work is about paying attention to ordinary things and letting them become something a little unfamiliar, humorous or quietly alive.
“Everything here starts with what’s close at hand, and grows into something just a little unexpected”
