‘Imaginarium’ 2025 is collection of sculptural forms, multi dimensional drawings and painting.
This installation explores the relationship between contrasts; reality and imagination, light and shadow, positive and negative through two and three dimensional forms. It explores the link with memory by encouraging the viewer to draw on their own life experience thereby determing what each person observes. This body of work exemplifies the reciprocal nature of Clare’s work, where form informs drawing, and drawing leads to new shapes. The sculptural elements draw heavily on waste material imagined in new ways, the materiality brings a rough aesthetic countered with the finer details in the prints, painting and delicate shadows.
