8 October to 1 November 2025 ‘Wells Art Contemporary‘
‘Liminal II’ (2025) Intaglio and relief varied edition print with watercolour and ink drawing h: 35 (cm) w: 25 (cm) will be on display as part of a group exhibition in the glorious Wells Cathedral.
Clare Blatchford-Hanna’s current projects include a body of drawing-prints drawings previously exhibited as part of ‘Imaginarium’ 2025. They examine the shifting identity of place, the interplay of natural geometry and perspective, and how imagination blurs the boundaries of memory. Something can feel both familar and unfamilar when context is created. An intuitive approach brings energy to the work, encouraging new ways of seeing. Research and experimentation are at the heart of Clare’s approach. Her practice is about engaging with the world, questioning perceptions, and finding meaning in contrasts. Through her work, she invites viewers to reflect on the layered realities that shape our surroundings and our experiences.
